The Night of Researchers 2011

RWE IT Slovakia introduced herself at the pan—European event The Night of Researchers for the first time. The employees presented the innovative projects of the Group in the Košice shopping centre Optima on September 23. They showed the public the electro-mobile with the charging station, explained the project Smart Home as well as BlackBerry applications, which also they themselves develop. The topic Cloud Computing was considered interesting, too.

The various palette of the scientific experiments provided the opportunity of observing the work in the scientific lab, discovering the magic world of minerals, getting to know one's own DNA as well as secrets of the artificial intelligence. The coordinated move of the robots surprised as well, the visitors could take a ride on the first Slovak student formula, which has been introduced also at Silverstone circuit. Compared was also the historical automobile and the modern electro-mobile.

The pan-European event The Night of Researchers has been organised by scientists already for the seventh time, Slovakia took part in this initiative for the fifth time. The goal of the event is popularisation of the science and research.
