Job applicants awarded the quality of the selection procedure at RWE IT Slovakia
November 30, 2011 Košice – During the official RecruitRank Awards 2011 evening, RWE IT Slovakia was given third place for the interview quality at the end of last week. The IT company in Košice succeeded for the first time as the only IT company from the Eastern Slovakia in the 4th Slovak competition with the best rated selection procedures based on the direct anonymous feedback from more than 100, 000 candidates among other 130 big companies.
“At present, our company employs more than 280 employees, this year we have employed other 117 new colleagues, in the next year we plan to employ other hundred new employees. The positive feedback from the job applicants is a good signal for us,“ said Olaf Baumann, the managing director of RWE IT Slovakia.
During the evaluated period from October 2010 until September 2011 RWE IT Slovakia published on the job portal Profesia.sk, which organises the competition, more than fifteen advertisements for one quarter and integrated itself into the category of big companies. After responding to the job offer, the candidates evaluated the whole impression from the selection procedure, the contact intensity with the company and knowledge of the selection course, sufficient amount of knowledge about the job offer and professional approach. In each area they could give the company from one – very bad to five points – very good. RWE IT Slovakia got in average 2.84 points.
“The candidates consider the fact that the companies do not respond to their applications the biggest deficiency. The punctual value of 2.84 from five points is considerably above the Slovak average of 1.8 points. The fact that the companies sent at least a thanksgiving e-mail to the job applicants had a significant impact on the positive evaluation of all finalists,“ Miroslav Dravecký, the project manager of the RecruitRank service explained.
