Strategy

 

RWE IT Slovakia s. r. o. supports the parent company RWE IT GmbH who, as a provider of IT services, creates conditions for a stronger orientation of the RWE Group towards its key business activities. Focus of the activities of RWE IT GmbH is on the development, preparation and maintenance of IT solutions.
 
The company RWE IT Slovakia that is located in Košice ensures a complete portfolio of IT services for the customers of the RWE Group in the countries of western and Central Eastern Europe (hereinafter referred to as CEE). In the following years we plan to significantly strengthen our position in the region of CEE particularly in these areas:


Excellence Centre for Testing (hereinafter referred to as Centre):

 

  • further extension of the Centre competence primarily on the region of CEE
  • extension of the Centre competences with the objective to provide complex services during testing of software applications as well as of the complex infrastructure
  • at a higher extent use the knowledge from the development and research projects with the objective to improve the testing of software applications in the area of automatic testing. 

Project leadership within CEE:

 

  • obtaining competence of the project management
  • establishing project leadership within the region of CEE
  • ensuring and reaching necessary competences in order to implement the "End-to-end" projects of the Group, from collecting the initial requirements from the customer through a complete implementation till the final submission of the project to the end customer
  • leading the projects according to the methodology Prince II a ITIL.

Innovations – research and development projects (hereinafter referred to as

R&D projects)

 

  • extension of the activity within the Group projects in the area of electric vehicles and intelligent households (SmartHome,  eMobility)
  • implementation of new R&D projects within the automatic testing of software applications and other areas
  • participation of universities in the R&D projects
  • using the knowledge from the R&D projects for the improvement of deliveries for the end customer.

Continuous seniority increase of human capital

 

  • development of the employee seniority by taking part in foreign projects
  • continuous education of employees by means of internal and external trainings
  • with regard to international position of the company, intensive education of employees in the area of foreign languages.
