Summer School uncovered interesting IT talents

Free technical workshop in duration of one week prepared RWE IT Slovakia for students and university graduates. Between the 11th and 15th of July 2011 the selected lucky ones educated themselves in the IT area led by RWE team with international experience. Within the first year of the Summer school the company registered 170 applications, however only 35 students got the “green light” based on the selected criteria.

The Summer school participants had the opportunity of listening to the technical lectures that are currently not included in the universities curricula. They appreciated especially situation plays and case studies, where not only their theoretical knowledge was checked, but they also received the feedback immediately. According to the lecturers the IT workshop participants raised the bar so high that it will be difficult to break it in the next years. Great motivation for the participating students was the opportunity to get included into the international RWE team.
